In 2015, we renovated an existing flex space into an updated Food Bank Facility in a location that can better serve the needs of the community. The new location enabled the network of 800 partner agencies, such as state-wide soup kitchens and shelters, to easily access the new Food Bank.
The new space features a 16,000 square foot freezer and cooler space for maximized storage of food. More space was created for volunteers, teaching kitchens, and classrooms, to increase capacity and support. This enables the food bank team to expand their outreach and feed more families in need.
