Scott started with McDonald York in May 2017 and brings 10 years of construction experience to the company. His first job, however, was working as a costumed greeter at Silver Lake Water Park in Raleigh when he was 15 years old. He soon worked his way up to lead life guard and had 37 rescues! In construction, Scott has gained experience working in several markets including Higher Education and Life Sciences. As advice to those considering a career in construction, Scott says the small details are what make a big difference. "Get out in the field and listen carefully to the guys who have been in this business for a long time. Build relationships and protect your reputation...if you take care of those things they will take care of you." Scott is originally from Cary, NC and graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. When he isn't at work you might find him fishing, duck hunting, water skiing, wake boarding, riding around Falls Lake or the beach with his wife, Ashley.
