The MYCraft Group brings added value through their craftsmanship.

McDonald York believes in craftsmanship that includes self-performing a variety of trade work from changing a door knob to pouring concrete.

MYCraft Group is capable of self-performing light grading, foundation drains, concrete foundations, foundation drains, concrete slab-on-grade, sidewalks, carpentry, drywall, ceilings, flooring, painting, doors, frames, hardware, toilet partitions and bath accessories.

But even when McDonald York does not self-perform work on one of our projects, our clients still benefit. First, with our experience self-performing these critical trades, our project managers and project superintendents have a data base of actual costs for this work. This can be a significant advantage when negotiating prices. Also, having firsthand knowledge of what it takes to complete these trades under a variety of project conditions allows us to more accurately schedule this work. Once the workers are on site, our personnel are able to monitor production and quality in a way that other general contractors may not be able to do. And if an issue comes up, our staff can proactively suggest mid-course corrections.

Craftsmanship and Self-performance enriches our depth of expertise, enhances our control of cost, coordination and sequencing, assuring we deliver a better quality product to clients.
