McDonald York has steadily grown from a small general contracting company begun in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1910 into one of the Triangle's most experienced and respected providers of construction services. We oversee projects ranging from small interior renovations to some of the most recognizable architectural landmarks throughout the Triangle.
We approach each project with a cooperative mind-set, working with clients, architects, and subcontractors toward the common goal - successful project delivery. From the very beginning a client is assigned a MYBC Client Executive, or advocate, whose job is to look out for the clients best interests. The Client Executive serves as the main point of contact between the client and team, and always errs on the side of "over communication". We believe in sharing information and making sure that all parties involved have all the information they need to be successful.
On the surface, the differences between the company of the early 1900's and the McDonald York of today are vast. However, there are key deep-seated elements that remain at our core - values and principles, talent and hard work - that account for the reason McDonald York has the skilled personnel, clientele, and reputation it does today.

A Quality Management Program
McDonald York strives to deliver quality construction to each and every client. We follow a Quality Management Program with specific quality-based procedures. We avoid the "inspecting then rejection" mode of operation by directing quality management to the project team including our subcontractors and tradesmen responsible for performing the work. McDonald York's quality process is a practical way of working and a better way of managing that helps avoid costly delays and claims.
